A couple of weeks on the mainland doing some disaster recovery for G's mom. They had flooding after a recent forest fire and we're helping dig a few feet of debris and mud.
While we're here G is getting the site ready for full publication; content and layout changes including a video section for educational use. Select programs from PBS | NOVA highlighting the importance sustainability and biodiversity. Keep your eyes out for additions :-)
We're still searching for a means to purchase the land; it's a big number for us but a good value at nearly $400K.
This winter we will be adding a 21 day internship program for English and Japanese speakers which will include study and hands on application of sustainable farming techniques. Details will be forthcoming in the next weeks.
Farmers Market weekends went well, everyone loved the food and we had a great time. When we get back G will update the site with where and when you can get a taste.
